If you currently own a home that needs minor exterior repairs and enhancements, you may be eligible for the Habitat for Humanity “A Brush with Kindness” (ABWK). Oneida County Habitat offers this program to qualified homeowners in Oneida County who are willing to partner with us and our volunteers to improve their home’s exterior presentation.

What ABWK does:

ABWK helps low-income home-owners who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, allowing them to reclaim their homes with pride and dignity.

SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (4/30/14)-Steve Detwiller from North Bend, Washington, uses his high ladder skills and paints the side of the house. This is the 25th anniversary of the RV Care-A-Vanner program, which included a celebration build and rally. In 2012, the RV Care-A-Vanner program launched its first disaster rebuild effort in the tornado-ravaged area of Morehead, Kentucky. In the following year, the program established a Disaster Rebuild Team to help with rebuilding efforts in communities impacted by natural disasters, including Joplin, Missouri, which was devastated by tornadoes in 2011.© Habitat for Humanity International/Ezra Millstein
